Using oud (the precursor to the guitar), ney (the bamboo flute). darabukka (the goblet-shaped drum), riq (the tambourine), double-bass and voice, we will weave together songs and improvisations based on the beautiful Arabic scales (maqamat) and the lively Arabic rhythms (iqa'at)
